The ‘Backwoods Bucket' is a bare-bones pouch that was designed to store your smaller-sized pieces of kit and keep them from floating around in your main pack. With a sizeable 4 liters of storage, it's a perfect bag for storing dirty soot-laden cookware, food, first aid items, or anyother pieces that you'd want in a manageable-sized pouch.
 
It also makes an excellent bag for gathering smaller tinder, fatwood, or other fire-starting materials, and will keep them dry in wet conditions (with the optional oil waxed finish applied).
 
If you're looking for some added organization and you need a few, get different colors and assign each color to a certain type of equipment contained within.
 
An optional canvas oil waxing service can be applied to waterproof the material. Wax is locally sourced from Portland, Ore.
